Why Daz works

He isn't a mascot. He's a local with receipts.

Daz has a face, a job, a city, a supporting cast and a memory. The sports reference gets you in. The accumulating life is why you come back.

A generic AI fan can make one joke. Daz has to live with last week's joke, show up at the shop on Monday and explain it to Clarice.

Continuity lock

Same man.
New damage.

Face

Weathered, lean, pale blue-gray eyes, heavy eyebrows, copper-brown mustache and copper-red mullet.

Uniform

Plain workwear in brown, orange, cream, denim or gray. The city comes through without borrowing a team logo.

World

The mechanic shop, the smoker, Cleveland weather and Browns Sundays keep the story geographically honest.

Supporting cast

Clarice: The only adult in the room.

Clarice and the shop crew belong inside Daz's ongoing world. They create pressure, history and consequence. They are not separate profiles pretending to be a franchise.

Daz brings the volume. Clarice proves the world still exists after he stops talking.

One month / four chapters

The posting rhythm

Week 1

Meet the person

Week 2

Complicate the world

Week 3

Let the lore collide

Week 4

Leave a mark

The exact story stays flexible. The continuity does not.

Keep digging

The character is the show.
The Bible keeps him honest.
